Evesham 7 – 4 Bromsyard
Evesham played their first pool game against Bromsyard, with tries from Molly 2, Ellie 3, Emily 1, and Lou 1. The game was never in doubt with Evesham being a quick 4 tries up, with this in mind the coach put on all the subs and Bromsyard started to come back, but with great skill Evesham started to pull away again in the second half.

Evesham 8 – 2 Berkswell B
Evesham played the second pool game straight after which was a good thing as the team had all finally warmed up, Evesham try scores where Maddy 2, Ellie 1, Chloe 1, Gabby 1, Lou 2, Charlotte 1, the game was a more stop and start affair with Berkswell over running the ball and knocking on a lot, with Evesham dominating from the start with great lines of running from all the girls.

Evesham 7 – 5 Berkswell A
After the pool matches Evesham girls where into the semi finals of the tournament and they were up against Berkswell A Team, Evesham try scores were Ellie 2, Becca 2, Izzy 1, Abi 1, Molly 1 this game was tougher than the others and the lead in the first half went from Evesham to Berkswell and they were all level at half time , in the second half Becca and Ellie stepped up to the plate with some great support from Emily, Abi and Izzy to finally win the match and head into the Final.

Evesham 5 – 6 Shipston A
The Final was a great affair with excellent standard of rugby from both teams Evesham try scores Becca 3, Lou 1, and Izzy 1 the game went down to the wire. With tagging, running, support lines all of the highest standard and all the girls should feel proud of themselves with all the effort they put in. It was a great success for the girls and the future looks very bright for the team.

Another great morning of rugby, with lots of players leading from the front, the skills and running lines where of a high and excellent standard, if Evesham girls tag team keep this level of rugby up they will become a very hard outfit to beat. Well done to all the girls.
