Solid victory for the u9’s

Sunday 10th of October saw Upton-upon-Severn visit the banks of the Avon for an excellent morning of rugby.
Harry opened the scoreboard for Evesham after an electric dash down the touch line and Upton were quick to retaliate with some excellent passing in the midfield. Both teams treated spectators to spectacular running rugby in a match that saw over 20 tries! As the game progressed Upton found it difficult to break down Evesham’s increasingly well organised defence within the seven tackles. By the third quarter Evesham had edged ahead with some precise passing and support play. The home side ended the game with a solid victory, helped by Harry’s haul of eleven tries! Players player of the match goes to George X for his solid defence and strong running with the ball. Thanks goes to Upton-upon-Severn U9s and the referee for helping to make a superb morning of rugby. Im afraid I missed the final score, but well done to all the boys!
