Under 10s Shipston Festival

Evesham rugby Club U10’s squad played some outstanding tactical rugby at Shipston Rugby Club’s Annual Festival. Their first match against Stow’s ‘B’ team was a hard first match which resulted in a 3 – 3 draw. The second match against Stow’s ‘A’ team was a hard fought match by both sides also ending in a 3 -3 draw. After a brief rest Evesham came back undeterred in their third match of the day against Claverdon, which was a close, fast match. Evesham played hard and defended well but a couple of tries from Claverdon in the final stages gave them a win, with a score of 6 – 4. Undeterred Evesham came back fighting with some outstanding tackling to win their last match against their hosts Shipston with a close 4 – 3 victory. Congratulations to the following Evesham U10’s squad who participated in the festival: George Bell, Barnie Brotherton, Sam Capewell, Myles Cook, Ben Cross, Nathan Ellis, Connor Ellis, Sam Hayler ,Archie McIvor, Tom Rowland, Ashley Symonds, Jonathan Tarring, Jim Tegg, Oliver Turner, Aiden West and Tommy Westby.
